We were remodeling our kitchen and I have always wanted a tin ceiling. So I did a search on the internet and came across a few companies selling tin ceilings. The American Tin Ceiling stood out and the products seemed far superior to anything else that was out there.

This tin ceiling has put the WOW in my kitchen remodel.

There was a dealer (Studio Decorate) near me, so I went to check out the tin ceiling. She had samples I could take home; this really helped me decide which color I wanted. I decided I wanted the snap lock, pattern # 2 in the creamy white. I had her order it for me and send it to my home. When I received it I had some questions on how I should install it, I called and talked to one of the designers at American Tin Ceiling. He had me fax a ceiling plan of my kitchen, and he faxed back on how I should proceed with the installation. We put up wood crown moldings around the edge of the ceiling. From the pattern there were gaps at the edges next to the moldings. I caulked the edges and all of the seams. And it turned out beautiful. With the snap lock, you do not have the nails in the corners of each tile and it has such a crisp look.

I told a lot of people I was putting in the tin ceiling and they did not understand what I was putting in. Now that it is done they have come to look at it and they are astounded at how beautiful it is. I think I have made some more sales for The American Tin Ceiling Company.
