A global leader in natural and organic foods, Whole Foods has evolved from a mom and pop shop in Austin, Texas in 1980 to one of the world’s most recognized international grocery chains. With new locations sprouting up daily, 11 stores across the Midwest and Canada from Ottowa to St. Louis and Chicago have already implemented tin ceiling tiles as part of their updated design aesthetic that celebrates seasonal, local, regional foods. Each store has it’s own unique look and feel to tell the story of the products at that location, laid out to match the size, age, and style of the building and community. With many new projects in the works, we look forward to growing with them.
“Your selection, colors, and customer service are why we continue to spec you over other tin ceiling companies.”
-- Christine Sturch, Midwest Senior Interior Design & Branding Coordinator

Why did you choose tin?
"It feels authentic, elemental, and most importantly is a washable/cleanable surface for food prep areas. There are varying colors and patterns in each store."
Did you consider any other materials?
"We use wood, metal, and various other resins for the same application researched by a design firm."
Any future projects in the works for tin?
"We’ve spec’d tin for 18 new stores in next two years and will definitely be using it in at least 25-50%, mostly in Ontario and Missouri."
