This does not take into account the extra time to cut out the plywood for lights, vents or fan holes. Also, if you have crown molding already installed, a plywood substrate will be 3/8" into your crown molding pattern. The SnapLock™ will meet the crown at the ceiling's edge and use filler to go under it.
