It's a Tin Ceiling Photo Contest!

April is Customer Appreciation Month and we want to celebrate by showcasing your awesome work. With over 75,000 customers to date (thank you!), we know you all have some amazing installations with our tin tiles. With each new photo that comes across our in-boxes, social media channels or otherwise, we are humbled by the creativity of our DIY, home improvement aficionados. We know there are so many more out there - and we want to see them all!

How to Enter

Simply take a high quality, professional-level photo of your residential or commercial tin installation and upload it to our Facebook page with a brief description of what and where it is. Make sure the photo is at least 500 pixels wide and preferably DLSR. Entries will be judged by our panel of interior design experts and the best photo will win an iPad Mini (retail value $299!). Photos will be evaluated on 33% creativity, 33% composition and 33% photographic quality.

Promote Your Photo

Share your picture on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the hashtag #tinstallation for another chance to w in. The photo with the most votes (likes) at the end of April will also win an iPad!

Photography Tips

Composition is key to any photograph. Try to get the whole room in the shot, not just the ceiling. Remember to frame the shot with a clear understanding of what you want the photo to look like in the end. Without the rest of the room, the ceiling would not be there! Additionally, due to the fact that most of our tiles are metal and therefore reflective, lighting can be a challenge. If you have to use a flash, make sure it does not cause hot spots on the panels. It can be difficult shooting reflective material, so be sure not to direct the flash toward the panels themselves.

ENTER NOW. Winners will be announced on or around May 15 – good luck!
