Tin Room Challenge Photo Contest Winners Announced

Our winter photo contest was a little different this year than in previous years. We dubbed it the “Tin Room Challenge” and tasked participants with the challenge of recreating a single room with American Tin Ceilings’ products.

We saw everything from tray ceilings and fireplaces to basement remodels. But there were a few projects that took our breath away.

Without further ado, here are the winners and the fan favorite.

Reimagined kitchen with rustic elements and tin panels on the ceiling.

First Place Winner

This total transformation started with a room stripped down to the bare bones and became a unique and stunning kitchen.

Pattern #28 in Artisan Copper with Burnt Umber covers the ceiling and a single panel of Pattern #29 in the same color sits behind the sink on the backsplash.

The use of the unique space and anything-but-boring color palette made this a fast favorite.

Second Place Winner

Another unique space caught our eye and earned second place in the winter contest. Pattern #14 in Artisan Gold Washed White applied to the ceiling on the porch gave us charming Southern vibes that we couldn’t deny.

The addition of # crown molding finishes the ceiling with finesse and draws in the rest of the porch design.

Modern industrial style kitchen with tin tile on the ceiling.

Fan Favorite Winner

Selected by our social media followers, this swanky kitchen by New York Ceiling puts a new face on vintage styling. Victorian wood alongside industrial detailing set the stage for an elegant tin ceiling in one of our most dramatic patterns.

Pattern #9 is our largest pattern (48 inches) and in Brushed Satin Nickel, this ceiling finishes the design with panache.
