Studio Garrison's design philosophy for the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley East revolves around 'tailored rusticity,' a concept that marries the rugged charm of mountain landscapes with the sophistication of contemporary design. A Nod to Mining Heritage
The Lounge pays homage to the region's rich mining history through its earthy color palette and choice of materials. Doors reminiscent of those from historic mining offices greet guests, setting a tone of nostalgic charm. Luxurious wood tones, supple leathers, and opulent fabrics elevate the space, creating an atmosphere that feels both grounded in heritage and refined in sophistication.
